Bubur Lambuk MICET

Ramadhan is coming dear friends.

So prepare yourself.

Bubur Lambuk MICET…

Today, MICET give bubur lambuk to all students and staffs. On 16^th August 2011, corresponding 16^th day of Ramadhan we had gotong-royong Bubur Lambuk at Surau UniKL MICET. These event involved all staffs and students at MICET. Bubur Lambuk will provide to all students and staffs.

These event starts in the morning, at 8 a.m. some of staffs go to market at Pulau Sebang to buy all the cooking ingredients for bubur lambuk. At 10 a.m. when all the stuffs arrived, they were devide into five group to prepare the ingredients. The others ingredients were onion, garlic, ginger, carrot, chicken and meat. There were five big craters to cook five sacks of rice. Although in fasting month the staffs and students joined the gotong-royong happily.

At 12 a.m. all the ingredients were already and they started to cook bubur lambuk. About 2 p.m. bubur lambuk were already cooked. It’s hot and fresh and looked like very delicious to eat. After that, bubur lambuk were packed with orange, apple and drinking water.

About one week before student back to home for fasting with our family and celeberate Hari Raya.

No water in Micet!

Since the first day in Micet (17^th July 2011), there were bad memory during “Minggu Silaturrahim” (MSR) session. There were no water supplies in Micet. It became difficult to survive without water in hostel especially with pack program in MSR.

Stress! Stress! Stress!

There were new requirement from MQA, they gave the new programme structure for study..its became stress for us with some changes….

At first week academic, we have problem with registration subject. We can’t register subject online and didn’t get the right timetable for class..dizzy….From Monday to Friday at first week, we always come and go to ASRA to face these problem..

The Beginning of Life as a "Bachelor Student" in UniKL Micet

Assalamualaikum warahmatuLLAHi wabarokatuh...

Hello everybody… How are you?

Are you in a good mood today?

Yah, hopefully you are in green condition~^^

First of all, we wanna tell you that we are officially become a Bachelor Student in UniKL MICET. We begin our life as a bachelor student on 17^th July 2011 which is the first date that we were registered at UniKL MICET. We are Wana, Miza, Lia and Sofia comes from the same course which is Bachelor of Food Technology. Now, we want to tell you what actually happened during the first day until the last day of induction week:

17^th July 2011, Registration Day:

We are pledge! that we want to be a perfect student in both academic and attitude!

We are comes in difference place which are Wana from Perlis, Miza from Melaka, Sofia from Perak and Lia from Pahang. We felt were very excited when entered the giant gate at UniKL MICET. Then, we went together to the multipurpose hall for registration. There is about 5 counters were opened with difference partitions which are Academic Administration, ICT, Finance, HEMS and Hostel. Alhamdulillah, the registration had been done well by the administration. Then after an hour we settle the registration, we went to the hostel. We picked up our things to the given room and take some rest for the long journey as student. (^_^)

18^th – 21^st July 2011, Orientation / MSR (Minggu Silaturrahim) Week:

The students expectation about this MSR are going to be bored because they think that the seniors will bullying the new students but when we join this orientation we felt very happy and exciting because all facilitators gave us advice to increase our spirit level in study and maintain it until we have finish our study in UniKL MICET.

Wishing brotherhood amongst us wills last forever

and hopefully Jannah is our next destination. Insya ALLAH~

We did enjoy our orientation week as we get into groups and cheerful with the some games which are debate competition, LDK, and others that had been organized by the facilitator. Thanks again to all facilitators. (^_^)
