How to Get on Dean's List

As a student of Islam, we were taught to work, pray and tawakal in Allah. BUT efforts have discretion to how we can do well in exams?

The steps that should be implemented to becoming a successful student:

1.Define the goal. Typically the standard for acceptance to the Dean's List is full-time status and a 3.5 grade point average (GPA).
Success begins with clear goal

2.Engage in class discussions. Share knowledge. Ask questions. These strategies will improve your understanding and provide valuable feedback to your professor. Participatory involvement is key to learning.

3.Examine the syllabus. Most professors post their syllabi prior to the first class session. The syllabus will describe the contents of the course in detail and allow you to carefully plan your course load. Be sure you have the prerequisite classes.

4.Make your professors lifelong mentors and professional contacts. The best professors thrive on the rewards of a positive learning experience and will adapt their style to facilitate your learning. Understand the dean's role and introduce yourself.

Discussion

5.Manage your time.Prioritize. School responsibilities should come first. Carefully integrate other responsibilities around your school needs. Your priorities should entail reading, studying, attending class, listening, participating, taking notes and reviewing. Diligent time management will be necessary, but with it your college experience will be both fun and rewarding. Making the Dean's List will instill great habits and improve your chances on the competitive employment scene.

Additional charges prepaid reload ???

Why charges this tax now after all these years when Telcons have been absorbing it?

Let us see why these charges are??

In accordance to the service tax law, prepaid reload and prepaid sim packs are subjected to applicable service tax. this is similar to the service tax levied on food and beverage purchase from restaurants and hotels. Prepaid calls and sms charges were more expensive then have progressively dropped over the years.

Customers user to pay RM0.60 per minute when the service was first introduced but today it is as RM0.12 per minute.

In addition, customers now enjoy various promotion such as free airtime and bonus credits amongst others as part of the benefit of being a prepaid customer. Prepaid service is the only whereby the service tax has been absorbed by telcons, not by the customer.

I WANT TO STAY MOTIVATED BUT....HOW?

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatuLLAH...hi guys^^

Motivation???
Motivation is defined as the process that initiates,
guides and maintains goal-oriented behaviors.

Did you got it?^^

Motivation is what causes us to act, whether we want
to eat rice when we are hungry or
reading a book to gain knowledge.

It involves the biological, emotional, social and
cognitive forces that activate behavior. In everyday usage,
the term motivation is frequently used to describe why
a person does something.

So, what's actually tips that can make us stay motivated?

It is about two simple tips.

First, DO WHAT YOU LIKE.

It can be really difficult to stay motivated to do
something that is not enjoyable. Are we right?

Most of the successful motivated people that are
around have found something
they are passionate about.
This makes it easy for them to work hard on it for
so long. Someone who wants to be a motivated chemical
engineer but also likes psychology skill should find a
job associated with counselling.

Secondly, THINK POSITIVELY

Many people have fallen into the habit of looking at
everything with a negative perspective.

A pessimistic attitude can be effective when used
appropriately, but when it is the dominate attitude,
it can cause a person to become depressed and unmotivated.
Thinking positive allows people to solve problems
instead of create problems.

It is your choice. POSITIVE or NEGATIVE?

Most successful people had to overcome
big problems in their pursuit of success.
Because problems arise every day, having a positive attitude
allows a person to overcome those problems instead of constantly
be burdened by them.

So, don't waste your time. You are pleased to follow those tips. Yeah!

ALL THE BEST FRIENDS!^^

Wassalam^^

FAMINE and the CONFLICTS – Where Are We?
(What can We Do to Help Ease Hunger?)

South Africa had faced severe drought for almost 60 years
ago that affects nearly 11 million people in the area.

Food and water source existing can't afford to accommodate
the amount of victims that increase from day to day.

What about them over there??

Everyday, they will face the same problems.

No enough food to eat everyday.

Live the life hardly.

So far from peace.

So far from happiness.

Let us see the pictures of the situation here.

Refugees from Southern Somalia are receiving food
in Mogadishu in July 26 2011

Mihag Gedi Farah, 7 months whose lacking from
nutritious food has only 3.4 kg of body weight

Nado Mahad Abdili build up the frame hut for the shelter

The condition of livestock here.

An aid agency workers is snapping pictures of the
carcass due to drought by using his ipad

Hasan Ali perform his prayer in between the border of Kenya and
Somalia after had left his house because he wants to be together
with his family at the refugees camp

A doctor treat a child with his mother beside him.

A few minutes later, her son has gone forever.

Almost of them died because of hunger.
However, the different situation has occurs right here.
Foods are thrown away everyday without any thought about our brothers over there.
And they just put the fate of existing aid, if any help come over, they can survive.

Ponder this and share with your friends.
Thank you for your time.
Assalamu'alaikum and have a very good day!

Haze in Malaysia

Haze in Malaysia

Parts of West Malaysia continued to suffer hazy conditions today (11th September 2011), while other areas badly affected last week enjoyed clearer skies. Kuantan recorded a visibility of four kilometres for most parts of the day, while in Alor Star the conditions improved to six kilometres by 5 pm, according to Malaysian Meteorological Department reports.

Meanwhile, Perak and Selangor suffered the poorest air quality, with Kuala Selangor recording an Air Pollutant Index (API) reading of 89, followed by Seri Manjung (87) and Tanjung Malim (86) at 5 pm, according to the Department of Environment website.

Kuala Lumpur was covered in haze by midday, with the Petronas Twin Towers barely visible against the city skyline at noon, but Subang and Petaling Jaya had fair visibility readings of six and seven kilometres respectively.

Shroud over Kuala Lumpur

Penang was also not spared. Below is certainly not a pretty sight: A very hazy view of George Town, with the iconic Komtar just visible. According to the Penang Meteorological Department, rain is forecast in the next few days and this should help to reduce or clear the haze.

The normally dry weather at this time of the year coupled with transboundary haze have reduced visibility in Kuching City to under 8km. The Environment Department said the API reading recorded a moderate 96 at 11am Friday (9th September 2011)

Putrajaya's landmark Putra Mosque, left, and Prime Minister's building are seen covered by haze in Putrajaya, outside Kuala Lumpur

As advise to public:

1. Reduce physical activities outside the home

2. Drinks a lot of water

3. Reduce sources of pollution like cigarette smoking

4. Use air conditioner in recirculation mode when driving

5. Keep your hands and face clean

Worst Affected Areas (11th September 2011 - 5pm)
>> Kuala Selangor : API 89
>> Seri Manjung : API 87
>> Tanjung Malim : API 86
>> Ipoh : API 81
>> Bukit Rambai : API 81

Shield yourself against the haze...
